Originally set to premiere on February 7, the film portrays the life of Sikh activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, who went missing in 1995. Sharing the news via Instagram Stories, Diljit posted a heartfelt note accompanied by an image of Khalra, apologizing for the postponement. The note expressed regret, citing unforeseen circumstances as the reason for the delay. Directed by Honey Trehan and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film sheds light on Khalra’s courageous efforts to expose human rights violations during the tumultuous militancy period in Punjab.
