The much-anticipated trailer of Shahid Kapoor’s film Deva was released on Friday. The two-minute-long video introduces Shahid as a police officer struggling with anger management issues. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the film also features Pooja Hegde in the lead role. It is produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, adding to the buzz surrounding the release.
The trailer begins with Shahid Kapoor’s intense dialogue: “They stormed into our event, shot my brother, and killed him. Now it’s our turn to invade every street, every system, and every area we left unchecked. This time, I want complete freedom.” Following this, the visuals showcase Shahid ruthlessly taking down goons, highlighting his unrelenting rage. A voiceover interjects, saying, “This hooliganism has to stop.” The trailer also introduces other pivotal characters played by Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulati, Pravessh Rana, and Kubbra Sait. The film, penned by Bobby-Sanjay and Hussain Dalal, is set to hit the screens on January 31.
